Our Client, a progressive, training solutions company with international dealings, seeks a dynamic Senior Bookkeeper to become an integral part of their management team.
As Senior Bookkeeper it will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running and management of the company's accounts. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this all-rounded, interesting and varied role will see you undertake:
- Processing of Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Balance sheet reconciliations including Bank Reconciliations and on-charging of expenses
- Foreign currency exchange transactions
- Monthly employee payroll and sub-contractor payments
- Assistance with cashflow control
- Processing, lodgement and reconciliation of BAS, PAYG and Superannuation
- Adhoc accounting duties as required
It is envisaged that the successful applicant will possess a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role and have the ability to undertake the role competently with minimal supervision.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess:
- Hands on experience with MYOB or Quickbooks
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to get the job done and the ability to work as part of a team
It is essential that applicants do possess MYOB or Quickbooks experience and a minimum 5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience in a similar position.
