Our Client, based in Welshpool, seeks a dynamic Assistant Accountant to become an integral part of their friendly team.
 
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your role will encompass everything financial, including:

- Budgets and cashflows
-Accounting to trial balance
- General ledger reconciliations
- Supervision of Accounts Payable and Receivable staff
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual management reports and board papers
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register and capital expenditure
- FBT, BAS and other taxation obligations
- Assistance to the Financial Controller and General Manager
- Adhoc accounting duties and projects as required
 
To be successful in this role you will possess supervision and leadership qualities along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.  The role will involve commitment outside of standard working hours.
 
It is essential that applicants are degree qualified with a minimum 3 years accounting experience in a similar position.
